Portfolio 701: Up Again

The trading week ended well for the portfolios although the market ended higher but not without a volatile session as resources and energy sectors were on the sideways.
Portfolio 701* ended the week higher by 0.56% to 2.85% as compared to the ASX S&P 200 benchmark index which only managed to jump just 0.7 points or 0.0% to a closing of 5673.1.
The portfolio finished with an after-costs profit of $435 with eleven winners and three neutrals. Closing valuation stands at $53,635. Although the profit is miniscule but nonetheless it is a confidence boosting signal. But what about the downside? The portfolio risks. Expect the question to be answered after some analysis. Stay tune.
Meanwhile, Portfolio 1.5-EW* closed marginally lower by 0.3 points to 40.20% with an after-costs profit at $16,001 and valuation at $59,048. There were nineteen winners. From the figures, the question is; is 40% the peak that 1.5-EW can run up to?
